Bitsbuffer founded
Sumair Rasool starts Bitsbuffer in Lahore, bringing enterprise standards from his years as a senior backend engineer in international banking to how growing businesses run their operations.
The real problem surfaces
After building custom tools for clients, the team sees the same pattern. Every company runs HR on chat apps, spreadsheets, and scattered tools. The idea for Workflow Engine begins.
Workflow Engine ships
First version launches: HRMS, EOBI and PESSI automation, attendance. First 10 companies onboarded. Feedback shapes the roadmap.
Platform expands
Social Media Manager, approval workflows, and performance management added. Workflow Engine becomes a full operational platform, not just an HRMS.
Enterprise and beyond
API, custom integrations, Finance module in active development. Goal: become the default operational backbone for growing businesses everywhere, proven first in Pakistan.
